Student Leadership

All students are provided with opportunities to develop their leadership skills. This occurs from the first year of school when the Prep students are encouraged to take on monitor duties and to develop independence and to contribute to the smooth running of the classroom. As the students progress through the school, they take on different roles and responsibilities. A formal Leadership Training Program is conducted for senior students. Some of the opportunities provided to students include:

  • School Captains (Year 6)
  • Membership of Student Advisory Council (Years 3-6)
  • House Captains (Year 6) and Vice House Captains (Year 5)
  • Office and Library Monitors (All Year Levels)
  • Membership of the Maintenance Crew (Years 3-6)
