Return to School in Term 4

Student Mandalas 16/09/20

Good afternoon everyone,

As set out on your Compass notification, the Victorian Government and Department of Education and Training have now released the long anticipated road map for the return to onsite learning for Term 4.

Remote and flexible learning at this stage will continue for the first week of Term 4.

In Week 2 on Monday 12th October our Prep - Year 2 students will return full time to school and 2 weeks later on Monday 26th October, Years 3 -6 will are set to return.

Once students return their remote and flexible learning will cease.

We have our Covid-19 Safety Plan in place and parents can be reassured that the health advice is that it will be very safe for young children to resume onsite schooling.

The "No Adult Visitors Onsite" will again apply. Students will meet a teacher at the 2 entrance gates (Settlement Road and Greenhills Road) as in Term 2 until further notice.

We want to thank all our students and parents/ carers again for all your feedback over the previous few weeks around remote and flexible learning. teachers have collated everyone's feedback to assist them to plan the start of Term 4, in relation to Student Wellbeing.

The Foci for Term 4 for your child and their learning as guided by DET are:

Student Wellbeing

Literacy

Numeracy

Personal Capabilities.

This week our NBPS Student Leaders decided to create a video to reach out to all our students doing remote and flexible learning. They wanted to let them know, that they are all in this together and they are not alone.

Thanks kids!
