Norris Bank Primary School Newsletter has now come online...
A very big welcome,
Thank you for logging on. After living in the online world for the past 10 weeks, we have decided to trial a new way to share our school news.
By using a blog, we can now give you news and updates in real time, as well as load images and videos. As we teach in the 21st Century, it is vital that we also learn to communicate and share, using 21st century communication tools. This is not just good practice, it also serves as a great model for our students who will be expected to be able to read and create blogs in the future.
We will still use Compass to alert you to new posts or short messages, however we would really like to use this website blog as our newsletter replacement. As such, we will be developing it more as we go.
We feel a blog is a fun and engaging way to share school experiences and to continue to build close relationships with our school community.
So, let's give it a go....
We thought we might start by sharing some of the wonderful tasks our students have created at home during remote learning.
